Michelle Esswein is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Winning Women. Winning Women has established public/private sector partnerships to promote an economic environment conducive to business growth and development for women in business. Michelle also manages the Winning Women Investment Funds that help expand and grow women owned companies nationally.

Michelle is President and Chief Executive Officer of Teres Entertainment, whose mission is giving voice to businesses globally.

Michelle is part of the (Higher Education Channel) HEC-TV Educate Today program as well as the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration, teaching K-12 students about entrepreneurship across the country.

Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Webster University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri St. Louis. Michelle was appointed by two Presidents of the United States to the National Women’s Business Council. On this Council, she provided an independent source of advice to both the President of the United States and the U.S. Congress on economic issues of importance to women and entrepreneurs. Michelle has presented and spoke in over 35 states.

Michelle was appointed by the Secretary of Defense to the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference 81(JCOC), where she was given the opportunity to spend a week with the 5 branches of the military. She was appointed by two Governor’s to the Missouri Women’s Council, won the National Leadership Award from the National Congressional Committee in Washington D.C., the Small Business Administration Young Entrepreneur Special Recognition Award and has received the Congressional Medal for outstanding volunteer service. She was also invited and part of the Woman as Change Agents Oral History Project for the State Historical Society of Missouri – St. Louis Research Center.

Michelle produced and hosted a radio show called the Michelle Esswein Show that can be heard locally in St. Louis, on iHeart Radio nationally, Spreaker, Player.fm and in 20 countries around the world. Her show focused on workforce, economic development, entrepreneurs and the community and is Powered By Winning Women. Michelle also produced and hosted a one-hour weekly radio call-in program, Business Matters. She appears on local TV stations (FOX, CBS and NBC) to offer business advice for consumers.

Michelle was the youngest to be named to the RCGA Board of Directors, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Regional Director of the Fashion Group International and President of the South County Chamber of Commerce. She is also past board member for iHeart Media Advisory Board, Congressional Medal Board, School Board, and Foundation for Missouri Women.

Michelle serves on the Missouri Chamber of Commerce Board and is Vice President of Marketing for AUSA.

Michelle is married and has three children. Michelle enjoys cooking and baking, singing and dancing, target shooting, and sports.
